"I had writer's block" recording session

On February 17th, from 1-4 PM, I will be hosting a rehearsal/recording session/feedback session for my guided improv piece entitled “I had writer’s block“ (this is a working title and I am very much looking for feedback on a new title!) at Persona Studio. The piece is inspired by elitism in classical music, especially in voice education. I wrote this piece in part as a way to heal from feeling “not enough“ or “lesser“ as a composer and singer, and I hope this recording session can be healing for other singers who may be experiencing a similar sort of imposter syndrome. I am also hoping that singers can come and give me feedback on the structure of the piece. If you are a singer and you are available and interested in singing this, please fill out this form. If you’re interested in looking at the score ahead of time, it can be found in the scores page of this website under “art song.“
